Resolving Lightweight Label Wrap-Around on Glue Roller

Customer Requirements:

The customer's label is very thin, with a weight of only 140gsm, which is below our machine's minimum working requirement of 200gsm. Due to the lightweight, the label was easily wrapping around the glue roller, causing production issues.

Solution Provided:

We immediately held a meeting with our technical department to address this problem. We found a way to modify the shape of the paper peeling knife, which successfully prevented the paper from wrapping around the glue roller. In addition, during machine training, our technician taught the customer how to use a tool to adjust the glue concentration. If the glue is too thick, it also makes it difficult for the paper to separate from the roller. These two improvements together ensured that the paper would not become entangled in the roller.

Feedback / Result:

The machine is now running steadily for the customer, and the problem has been fully resolved.
